New Publishing: Art in The Australian Fabians Review, September, Issue 5, 2023

I have new artwork in the most recent Issue 5 of The Australian Fabians Review 2023. Their editor invited me to share my painting ‘Australia a Prophecy’ under their topic of AUKUS in a large issue with many writers expressing themes shared by the Australian wing of the Fabian Society, an international labour movement think tank which has it’s origins in the UK since 1884. I especially appreciate the honour of being welcomed as a non-member to share my artistic & personal insights. I hope it will encourage thoughtful discussions and reflections. Thank you so much for supporting the artistic & literary lens.

Carl Gopalkrishnan (aka Gopal)

Over the past two decades, Carl Gopalkrishnan's artwork has garnered international recognition for his ability to forge meaningful connections between the cultural narratives found in art and literature & the complex dynamics driving international law, intervention and global conflict. Through his art, Carl provides a platform for legal and military analysts to explore the creative, subconscious and emotional nuances underlying the doctrines that influence matters of war and peace. His paintings continue to foster constructive dialogues about the role of creativity in shaping our world.
