[ammended April 2012] This website has grown a bit since I started it in 2009:) So I re-arranged things a bit to make them easier to find. You will now find a new gallery, as well as 2 new web pages for this website. The photographic portraits by Amanda Brown have also moved from Galleries into Links. So the Galleries area now contain only my art from 1987 to 2012.
First thing is the new works. Although I won't be uploading most of the new paintings in this series for some months, I will add a few canvases to my 2011 Gallery at the bottom of the page. A new gallery is under construction for October 2012. Please keep checking in with my studio diary posts for new paintings.
A new music links page has been added for the quirky nostalgic songs of Annette Hanshaw (all You Tube links) called Music 1930s Annette Hanshaw. Hanshaw is unknown today but was a very well known and enjoyed 1920s jazz singer whose music really appealed to me while painting the last series. I have also compiled a new photo album for photos taken on my way to Albany, looking for textures for the paintings called album 1: field trip. You can find both under Links. The last image is the new research page under construction for October for people that enjoy following my links.
