I Stumbled onto these old skits from The Carol Burnett Show. After a week of news that got ludicrous, I felt a need to watch adults being honest about being silly.  The multiple Emmy winning Carol Burnett Show had a hugely successful eleven-year run which aired on CBS television from 1967 to 1978.  I love that it first aired the year I was born and that people laughed as I entered the world. As a kid I remember my first experience of laughing until I could not move, breathe, or do any else but lie on the floor and convulse with laughter. Kids do that. And I wasn't yet 10 but I got these jokes. And adults and kids in the room used to laugh together. That's a real nice feeling. Just sharing some moments.
